Finished roofline, fascia and gutter detail on a completed project

Backed in writing.

A manufacturer material warranty and our own written workmanship warranty on every completed project.

Two warranties, and they are not the same thing

Every project we complete is covered by two separate warranties, and understanding the difference matters because most warranty disputes in this industry come from confusing them.

1. The manufacturer's material warranty

This comes from the company that made the product — the shingle, the siding, the window. It covers defects in the material itself. Length and terms vary by manufacturer and product line, and many premium systems offer enhanced coverage when installed to full specification by a qualified contractor, which is exactly how we install them. We register your warranty on your behalf and give you the documentation.

2. Our workmanship warranty

This is ours, and it covers our installation — flashing, fastening, sealing, the details that decide whether a perfectly good material performs. If something we installed fails because of how we installed it, we come back and fix it. The exact term is stated in your written proposal before you sign, and it varies by service.

What warranties do not cover

  • New damage from a subsequent storm, falling tree or other act of nature — that is an insurance matter, and we will help you with it.
  • Damage caused by other trades working on the same building after we finished.
  • Failure of components we did not install or were not contracted to replace.
  • Neglect — gutters never cleaned, obvious damage left unreported for years.

How to make a claim

Call (330) 576-3047. Tell us what you are seeing and when it started. We will schedule an inspection, and if it is a workmanship issue we will fix it. There is no form to fill out and no portal to log into — you call the same number you called the first time, and the same company answers.

The test of a warranty is whether the company is still there. Four generations and fifty-plus years in the same region is our answer to that. A twenty-five-year warranty from a company that appeared after last spring's hailstorm is worth exactly what you would expect.
